After several years of practicing law, I began to feel stressed, run down and overwhelmed. At the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try yoga. I fell in love with the practice after my very first class and was so inspired by all the benefits yoga provided, that I decided to bring this gift to others. I received my 200 hour certification in 2010 and my 500 hour certification in 2016. I’ve been a rock climber for 16 years and have taught yoga at several climbing gyms, which has given me a deep understanding of how to use yoga to support climbers with strength, mobility, and recovery. My hope is to inspire my students to progress on their own personal journeys while having fun exploring all that yoga has to offer on and off the mat.Jamie Worthing-Jones
Hi Yogis! My yoga journey began over 20 years ago in Berkeley, California, at a climbing gym where my now-husband and I spent our free time bouldering, top roping, and enjoying more than our fair share of taco truck burritos. What started as a way to manage stress and stay active after my collegiate swimming career quickly grew into a lifelong practice.
Yoga has supported me through many of life’s transitions—from navigating chronic illness to motherhood and a cross-country move. It continues to be a grounding force, and I’m deeply grateful to share this practice with the Hexrock community.
In my classes, I create a welcoming space where you can build strength, balance, confidence, and calm—one breath at a time. I blend dynamic movement with intentional stillness and meditation to help you feel empowered in your body and grounded in your mind, both on and off the mat.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me climbing with my family, scooting around Lakewood Ranch with my two kiddos, walking my dog, volunteering at school, tending to my ever-growing plant collection, or dreaming up our next family adventure with a cup of coffee in hand.
I can’t wait to see you on the mat—or the wall!Tara logel

Lexi
Hi! My name is Lexi and I am so excited to be your Zumba instructor! I did musical theatre as a child so I have been dancing my whole life. I started doing Zumba in college and became an instructor in December of 2025. When I am not doing Zumba, I am flying airplanes, I am working on my commercial pilots license and one day hope to be a professional pilot! In my free time I also enjoy baking, playing bass guitar and lifting weights. My favorite part of Zumba is the wonderful community that it provides; its not about being the best dancer, but about feeling good in your body and having fun! As your instructor, I hope to uplift my students, create an inclusive environment, and help you feel more confident than you did before you came to class!Valeria
Valeria has been a certified Zumba instructor for 13 years, teaching internationally across North America and Europe. Her dance journey began at age five in Mexico, where she learned Mexican folkloric dance, flamenco, Hawaiian and Tahitian dance, salsa, and other Latin rhythms.
Dance has always been Valeria’s passion and therapy. She loves sharing the joy of movement and helping others feel confident, energized, and happy through dance. Her favorite rhythms are salsa and samba, and she is excited to bring her energy and love for dance to Hexrock Climbing Gym.
